Attend in Your PJs
Cloud Calls? What the heck are Cloud Calls?
The short answer: Cloud Calls are teleconference calls that are intentionally designed to engage participants.
On a typical teleconference, information flows one-way: from the expert presenter to the audience. On a Cloud Call, you will be an active participant, able to:
- Engage in conversations with other participants during groups of three
- Talk directly to the presenter during whole group sessions
Cloud Calls last about 60 minutes; they are real, fun, and fast.
Attend in Your PJs
A Cloud Call enables you to experience the connectedness and engagement you normally experience during hallway conversations at an in-person event from the comfort of wherever you are. If you want, you can stay in your PJs throughout the whole Cloud Call.
Brought to you through the collaborative efforts of Jim Henderson Presents and Hansen Resource Development Inc, the Cloud Call series delivers incisive content from today’s leading thinkers, tinkerers and practitioners in the emerging field of Religious Spirituality. It also provides you a way to co-learn and share your thoughts with curious people just like you from all over the globe.
Forget the plane. Pick up the phone in your home, office, or car and jump on The Cloud.
Behind the Scenes
Cloud Calls are possible because of the unique capabilities of MaestroConference, and the expertise of Eric and Elaine Hansen, the owners of Hansen Resource Development.
When you register for a MaestroConference Cloud Call, you receive a unique access code that identifies you when you call in. During the Cloud Call, Eric and Elaine are in the background, monitoring the conductor’s dashboard. They can see who is on the call, which allows them to break participants into small groups and call on individuals for questions or comments in large groups.
Think of it this way: You are at a presentation, sitting around tables listening to the speaker. After a few moments, Eric and Elaine put a cone of silence around you and invite you to talk with the people at your table – without anyone else hearing you.
